I have always known God gave me the gift of singing. I knew He had placed a calling on my life to share the Gospel through song.
Years ago, I was working a full-time job that relocated me from Charleston, South Carolina, to Georgia. During that time, I was singing part-time for the Lord while working my regular job. Then in 1995, the company laid off seven employees, and I was one of them.
From 1995 through 2013, the Lord opened the doors for me to travel full-time in ministry. I was blessed to sing in more than 250 concerts a year, sharing the Good News through music.
In 2013, my wife and I felt it was time for a season of rest. We prayed that if it was truly time to step away from the road, God would open other doors for us — and He did.
My wife was offered a position with a local health center, and I continued singing occasionally here and there. Then the City of Swainsboro, Georgia, approached me about managing an antique mall. Before accepting, my wife and I prayed and fasted, that God would bless the business and allow it to prosper.
And He certainly did.
For the past 12 years, I have managed the antique mall, and sales have increased every year. We were honored to be voted “Best Antique Store in the State of Georgia” five years in a row by the Georgia Business Journal. My wife retired in 2021 and joined me in helping operate the business.
But deep in my heart, I still felt the calling to sing for the Lord.
Every now and then, I would sing for tour groups visiting the antique mall, which helped keep my voice warmed up. As retirement draws closer, I began praying once again about returning to ministry through music.
After much prayer and confirmation, I now feel the Lord leading me back onto the road to once again share the Gospel through song.
As of April 2026, I have started scheduling concerts part-time, with plans to possibly return to full-time ministry in the near future.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me, prayed for me, and encouraged me throughout the years. I look forward to what God has ahead as I continue this journey of faith and music.
